Key features of the pasture management in the last few years include a managed grazing rotation, application of lime, seasonal spreading of "Everest" mix of NPK, and more recently mulching both ahead of, and after grazing as is beneficial.

The gates, grids and fencing are in excellent condition. A hardstand area, with its own access to Deer Vale Road, is located in a central position. It accommodates the farming equipment and supplies, keeping them separated from the home environment. A modern set of cattle yards is also located at the hardstand.

A natural feature of the property is the wide sky views and the associated spectacular mountain weather. These are complemented by several lovely walks along access tracks, and through the forest, especially if you enjoy discovering the native fauna and flora.
